In the Details Events was started by Angela Brant and Jennifer Shaffer after endless hours of talking and trading wedding ideas. The two were planning weddings for friends and other couples who had heard of them. The fact that Jennifer lived in Florida and Angela lived in Nebraska was not an issue. The two realized that they could create a wedding planning company that would serve clients literally anywhere.

Jennifer has been in the event industry since the age of 15. She graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and continued her education at Florida International University School of Hospitality Management. Spending time in the field as a Catering Director, Chef, and Wedding Planner has added to her expertise in Event Management. Her creative ideas and ability to bring client’s dreams to life has put her on the map in the South Florida area.

Angela traded stock for almost 13 years and was frequently asked to plan company events. Her colleagues were so impressed that they started asking her to plan their weddings. Angela started full time as a wedding planner in Virginia where her company quickly became one of the top wedding planning companies in Richmond.

Angela and Jennifer have a motto and that is "we do not want to plan your wedding." Planning a wedding is a fun once in a lifetime experience, however it can be overwhelming. The relationships that Angela and Jennifer have created with vendors and venues allows them to truly be your consultants. Their services are custom tailored to your specific expectations. You decide how much or how little you need them to assist you with creating your unique wedding.
